Technical Consultant for Yardi/MRI/.NET Resource

Description:

The Technical Consultant role will play a vital role in planning and delivering custom reports, processes and specifications for software based projects.

Benefits:

60k-70k Salary Range dependent on experience with a Full Insurance Package.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide Yardi client support and technical issue resolutions via the client’s preferred source of communication/electronic medium
  • Develop and delivery training as related to specific Yardi application and business process including preparation of materials, agenda, exercises and test data required
  • Develop written business functional specifications for Yardi custom reports, custom applications, changes to security and changes to application functionality
  • Conduct Yardi training and meetings via conference calls, screen sharing (like GoToMeeting), video conferencing and/or Skype
  • Properly document client requests and resolutions in a tracking system or client-project status report
  • Traffic, prioritize and route client requests to other internal and external resources
  • Follow up resources assigned tasks
  • Stay connected with clients via weekly or monthly status calls
  • Review time reports from internal and external resources that have provided services on assigned tasks.
  • Train clients and internal and external resources on an ‘as-needed’ basis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer System/ Business Management Systems or Real Estate
  • 1-3 years Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis
  • Familiar with the use of Yardi or MRI
  • Experience in .NET programming or other technical programming
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Knowledge in generating process documentation
  • Stay connected with clients via weekly or monthly status calls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Basic programming knowledge
